SUMMARY:2-day Online: Blind Spots of Leadership (12/2-12/3)
DESCRIPTION:Leader Champions is proud to present a 6-hour online leadership training: Blind Spots of Leadership. Facilitated by Leader Champions trainers with over two decades of leadership experience.\nThis workshop will cover the following:\nLocating your Leadership\nThe first key skill of conscious leaders is self-awareness, and the first act of self-awareness is locating yourself in this “now” moment.  Am I open or closed? Am I in a state of trust or a state of threat? Because we believe that ability to locate yourself really does start a powerful internal conversation with yourself and external conversation with anyone else you’re working with. Learn the distinction between shifting between “to me” and “by me” world views. Learn how to be curious, playful, see others as allies, and the opposite of your story as true.\nLeading with Courage\n“The courage to be vulnerable is not about winning or losing, it’s about the courage to show up when you can’t predict or control the outcome.” –Brene Brown. Courageous leaders are people who are able to push through uncomfortable situations. They are willing to make difficult decisions and do not back down when things get too hard. Courageous leaders are willing to be vulnerable. During this section learn about the myths about vulnerability, and take a look at how your armor up. You will learn about the importance of clarity, how to have tough conversations, and to stop hustling for the approval of others.\nThe 6 Basic Human Needs\nAs a leader, parent, friend, or facilitator, it is important to understand each other. Relating and connecting to others cannot happen without some understanding of each other’s basic human needs. During this section of the course, we will discuss what is fundamental for us as humans and what we need to thrive! As a student of Tony Robbins, we have learned these are not merely desires, but profound needs that underlie and motivate every choice we make, conscious and unconscious.\n
